Step 1: Pick the correct Corner Taker
Having a good corner starts with selecting the correct Corner Taker. To take a good Corner, a player will need the following attributes:
Corners
Crossing
Passing
Technique
PPM
A Player Preferred Move (PPM) that would make even better Corners is Curls the Ball. The Player taking the Corner will kick the ball with a curve, which is harder to defend.
Step 2: Swing in or Swing out
The next thing you will have to decide is whether you want to have the ball swing towards or have the ball swing away from the goal. That all depends on the Corner Taker. A right footed player who takes a corner on the right side, will have a ball that swings away from the goal and vice versa.
